This week has seen our Year 11 students make a great start to their exams, showing the right frame of mind and focus – well done Year 11, keep it up. We wish our Year 13 students every success in their exams which start on Monday. The Globe in the secondary site atrium has been taken over by a new resident – Syd the giant octopus which has been created out of hundreds of used plastic bottles and hours of hard work from our global citizenship team. Syd is part of the school’s entry for the Dive Cornwall project competition and we are hoping that our entry will earn the opportunity for some of our students to take part in an amazing diving project. Winners for this prestigious competition will be announced in June – we will update you once we hear the outcome. Irrespective, congratulations to the students and staff who have put together such a fantastic entry for SRS. Sydney will be fully recycled in due course…for now, Syd will hang out and remind us of the importance of recycling plastic to preserve our oceans. Finally for this week, you can relive the fantastic SRS production of Grease by viewing our Youtube channel – https://youtu.be/ InAju1-diGc Have a great weekend.
